FAQ

  • How do I choose between the Lactic Action 30 and Lactic Action 50?
Start with the 30% for more sensitive, first time clients and skin of colour. If procedure goes well, it is okay to move up to the 50% formulation.

  • Most of my clients don’t notice any peeling with this product. Am I applying it correctly?
Due to the nature of AHAs, most of the activity is taking place within the skin. Therefore, although there is repair going on, it is not visible on the surface. Teach your client not to associate visible peeling with actual results.

  • Is Lactic Action 30 and 50 safe for pregnant clients?
Although many studies validate the safety of AHAs for pregnant clients, it is important to remember that their skin is much more sensitive to sun damage during pregnancy. Therefore, it is critical to their success and to prevent the onset of melasma to ensure that pregnant clients use sufficient sunscreen every day and reapply as necessary during prolonged sun exposure.

  • Is this product safe for pregnant or breastfeeding mums?
No, it is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding to receive chemical treatments.
